The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced AssociateCostManagerto play a key role in delivering the financial success of construction projects. Acting as a trusted advisor to clients and project teams, you will manage budgets, overseecosts, and ensure efficient delivery, while also supporting the development of junior team members and contributing to process improvements across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead pre- and post-contractcostmanagement activities, includingcostplanning, procurement, valuations, and contract administration.
Develop, manage, and report on budgets, forecasts, and financial controls with accuracy and transparency.
Oversee project variations and safeguardcostefficiency.
Utilise digital measurement tools to supportcostplanning and contractor submissions.
Provide expert advice on risk management, procurement strategies, and value engineering.
Represent the business at site progress meetings and carry out valuations/site inspections.
Mentor junior colleagues, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional growth.
About You
Proven track record incostmanagement within the construction industry.
Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts.
Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
Leadership qualities with the ability to manage stakeholders and develop teams.
