Payroll with CIS knowledge required for an established firm of Chartered Accountants

Hours - 35hrs per week
9am to 5pm with 1 hour lunch between 1pm-2pm ( flexible)
Salary up to £30,000
The ideal candidate will have previously worked in an Accountancy Practice ot a Payrol Bureau or have CIS ( subcontractors) payroll Knowledge
The Payroll Duties
* Working in a team of two others you will be managing approximately 170 payrolls varying in size from 1 employee to 70
* Running monthly, weekly, 4 weekly, fortnightly payrolls
* Setting up new payroll schemes/ closing payroll schemes
* Setting up new pension schemes/auto-enrollment duties
* Pension contributions upload
* CIS reporting
* CIS subcontractors' verification
* Liaising with HM Revenue and Customs
* Staying updated on changes in payroll regulations and guidelines, implementing necessary adjustments to ensure legal compliance.
* Key point of contact for all queries related to payroll.
To be successful in this Payroll position you will have
1. Good knowledge of payroll systems
2. Knowledge of Auto-enrolment compliance
3. Knowledge of New Starter and Leaver processes
4. Knowledge of CIS reporting
5. Basic knowledge of relevant payroll software preferably BrightPay.
