Chartered Surveyor Degree Apprenticeship Project Management Pathway Construction Project Managers occupy a central role in the development process driving successful completion of construction projects. From developing the project brief to selecting, appointing and coordinating project teams, you represent clients through the full construction programme, managing the inputs of clients, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders. Construction Project Managers in the DIO work on a range of fascinating multi-million pound projects covering exciting programmes in the UK & overseas. On this 63 month Construction Project Management Apprenticeship, youll be immersed in the DIO from day one. Fast paced and rewarding, this Apprenticeship will allow you to make your mark on a global organisation, while building connections with talented people across our business. From the beginning, youll be given a mentor to provide useful tips and guidance on your work and career whenever you need it. Person specification During your time in the Apprenticeship Academy, you will: Work towards a Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) accredited BSc (Hons) in Construction Management via the University of the Built Environment (UBE) Attain your professional membership to RICS upon successful completion of the scheme Receive 7.5 hours per week off the job training Opportunity to gain a breadth of experience across multiple teams in DIO Potential opportunity to visit overseas DIO estates Gain real world experience with external contractors/consultants During your Apprenticeship, well support your technical development through a range of on-the-job experiences, putting what youre learning in the classroom into practice in your day job. Well also support your professional development through a combination of training courses, mentoring and networking opportunities. You will receive one-to-one support throughout your Apprenticeship from your Mentor and Line Manager in DIO, as well as your Tutor and Coaches from the training provider. Qualifications You must have, or will achieve by January 2026, the following Qualifications/Essential Criteria: Five full GCSEs at AC or grades 4-9 (or equivalent) to include English Language and Mathematics. and; 96 UCAS tariff points or; an Advanced Apprenticeship in Surveying or an Advanced Apprenticeship in Construction Technical* through which a Construction and Built Environment Diploma with a minimum DD profile was obtained, or through which a Construction and Built Environment Extended Diploma with a minimum MMM profile was obtained or; successfully completed the UCEM BSc Access module Evidence of the above qualifications will be required as part of your pre-employment checks before a formal offer can be made.
