Are you passionate about supporting young children as they begin their learning journey? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Wallington is looking for a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with younger pupils, thrives in a team environment, and wants to make a meaningful impact in the classroom. You’ll be working closely with the class teacher and pupils to support both learning and wellbeing on a day-to-day basis.
Your Role Will Involve:
* Providing in-class support to KS1 pupils during lessons and activities
* Working one-to-one or with small groups to reinforce learning objectives
* Assisting with classroom preparation and daily routines
* Supporting behaviour management and encouraging positive interactions
* Helping to maintain a safe and engaging learning environment
