Description
Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team seeks a skilled Delivery Consultant to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet technical and business objectives. The role involves working closely with customers throughout the project lifecycle, providing technical expertise, best practices, and guiding migration strategies to AWS.
Key Responsibilities
* Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
* Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
* Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
* Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
* Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts
Basic Qualifications
* 8+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field
* Experience managing and delivering large‑scale enterprise IT projects
* Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (e.g., security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA)
* Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies
* Experience architecting or deploying cloud/virtualization solutions in enterprise customers
* Experience with software development lifecycle or experience in agile/scrum or related collaborative workflow
Preferred Qualifications
* Degree in advanced technology or AWS Professional level certification
* Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
* Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR
* Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments
* Experience managing executive customer relationships and key business stakeholders
* Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and identifying relationships between business services, information, applications, and global infrastructure assets
Eligibility
Eligibility for UK Government Security Clearance is required for this role.
