As a Copart Vehicle Image Damage Assessor, you will be responsible for preparing engineer’s reports on behalf of insurance companies.
You will review documents related to vehicle damage, information, images, and other vital details, making necessary amendments.
Your duties include conducting market research to determine vehicle value, considering factors like mileage, previous damage, HPI data, and more. You will assign salvage categories following ABI Code of Practice and company guidelines.
You must adhere to our Service Level Agreements and follow established processes. Training on our internal report-writing systems will be provided.
This is a remote position, working from home, with possible attendance at our Head Office or Operation Centre.
What we need from you:
* You should be a member or willing to join professional bodies such as MIMI, IAEA, or IRTE, and familiar with insurance claims procedures.
* Ability to interpret vehicle damage and use repair estimating systems.
* Experience with motor vehicles, damage assessment, and repair methods.
* Knowledge of VDA and estimation tools like Glass’, CAP, Audatex, and HPI.
* Understanding of legal vehicle roadworthiness requirements under the Road Traffic Act.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
