Job Description: Job Title: Quality Engineer Location: Terex Ballymoney Hours:39 hours per week/4 days per week Join our team at Terex and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Quality Engineer to contribute to the Ballymoney Team. As a Quality Engineer at Terex, based in Ballymoney, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the production and delivery of safe and quality products to the wider Terex Team. What you’ll do: Assist in the development and auditing of the Quality Management System Supplier and product qualification - local and international Have the ability to use statistical methods to fault find & support solutions to technical issues, including but not limited to use of control plans and standard operating procedures Be responsible for assuring bought in products meet quality specific sign-off criteria, working with suppliers when issues arise Where non–conformance exists, use initiative to introduce suitable manufacturing containment actions while working with the supply base (internal or external) & technical personnel to achieve long-term solutions for quality from root-cause analysis Support day to day operations to ensure there in minimum impact to production as a result of quality related issues and attend regular meetings giving details of quality trends and actions Support NPPD within the factory Support Quality inspectors in day to day duties including but not limited to quality investigations, problem solves and continuous improvement Responding to customer queries Supplier auditing Any other reasonable duty as required by management What you’ll bring: Engineering Qualification or equivalent experience in an Engineering/Manufacturing environment with quality/supplier quality experience A proven track record of experience working in a manufacturing environment covering both fabrication and assembly discipline Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control and problem-solving techniques utilized throughout the manufacturing industry Excellent communication skills Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Desirable: Experience of supplier management Experience of supervising others Internal and external audit certification Experience in maintaining a Quality Management System Experience in New product introduction and advanced product quality planning Experience in dealing with customers Why Join Us: • We are a global company, and our culture is defined by our Values — Integrity, Respect, Improvement, Servant Leadership, Courage, and Citizenship. • Safety is an absolute way of life.
