Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to work within Renfrewshire Specialists Children’s Services Neurodevelopmental Team. Working alongside the Team Lead and clinicians from all other parts of Specialist Children’s Services, the post holder will undertake a range of neurodevelopmental assessments for school aged children and be a core part of the diagnostic team. The post holder will provide a high standard of group and individualised interventions to the young people in Renfrewshire and will support the development and delivery of pre and post diagnostic support for children, young people and their families/carers.
The post holder must be educated to degree level or equivalent and be a registered nurse, allied health professional or equivalent. Advanced knowledge of neurodiversity, neurodevelopmental profiles and child development is required.
