Were looking for an organised and proactive Procurement Assistant to join a our client who is an established global engineering firm. In this role, youll support the day-to-day purchasing activities helping to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Youll be the go-to person for purchase orders, supplier communication and keeping our procurement systems accurate and up to date. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, loves a bit of admin, and wants to build or grow a career in purchasing and supply chain management. What Youll Be Doing 1. Helping to make sure our purchasing policies and processes are followed. 2. Raising and tracking purchase orders. 3. Logging quotations and order acknowledgements. 4. Following up with suppliers to make sure orders arrive on time. 5. Keeping databases and records accurate and well organised. 6. Supporting the team with general admin tasks and logistics.
