Embedded Software Engineer

Loughborough – Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day WFH)

We’re hiring! Join a forward-thinking engineering team as an Embedded Software Engineer, working on innovative embedded systems used in real-world applications.

This is a hybrid role, with 4 days per week onsite at our Loughborough office and 1 day working from home.

What You’ll Do

* Design, develop, and maintain embedded software in Embedded C or C#
* Program and integrate microcontrollers and embedded hardware
* Use industry-standard firmware development tools and environments
* Debug, test, and optimise embedded code for reliability and performance
* Collaborate across hardware and software teams to deliver robust solutions

What We’re Looking For

* Strong experience in Embedded C or C# for embedded systems
* Hands-on experience with microcontrollers (ARM, PIC, STM32, etc.)
* Familiarity with firmware development tools and debugging techniques
* Solid understanding of embedded systems architecture
* A degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or similar – or equivalent experience
