This temporary post is only available to all permanent and temporary employees and agency workers currently on assignment within East Dunbartonshire Council.

Please note you will be asked to provide the names of two referees when you apply for this post; however, these are not required at the application stage.
You should print the role profile and Head Teacher's report and give them to your Head Teacher for completion.
To ensure your application is accepted, the Head Teacher report must be signed by and emailed from the Head Teacher who completed it, in PDF format, to ekennedy@turnbull.e-dunbarton.sch.uk prior to the closing date. The report must include the (EAD) reference number of the post.
Failure to submit the report as instructed may result in your application being excluded from shortlisting.

PVG / Disclosure Scotland
All roles within East Dunbartonshire Council that require PVG/Disclosure checks are subject to the following criteria:
Candidates applying for posts considered Regulated Roles under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020 will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before employment is confirmed. The cost of the check will be deducted from the first salary, or in some cases, in installments following employment commencement. If an employee leaves before the deduction, the full amount will be deducted from their final salary.
This applies to both new applicants and existing employees applying for roles requiring a PVG/Disclosure check.
