The Procurement Team provide a wide range of services relating to development and maintenance of properties to achieve Value for money (VfM). The VfM and ESG officer will provide support on administration of monthly and annual targets whilst activity being the lead of this service area. You will support the Director of Value Creation to steer the future of the Sovini Groups ESG and VfM strategy and aims and objectives, to achieve greater outputs, increase visibility and enhance relationships with key stakeholders. This role requires you to working collaboratively across the group gathering information to produce annual and bi-annual reports presented to Managers, Directors and Board members. This role requires you to have the ability to draft reports, review detailed information and to learn on the go. The officer will be required to work to deadline and under pressure compliantly to regulations and legalisation. This is an exciting developing role and requires the successful candidate to use their own initiative, to work individually and collaboratively and be ambitious to successfully drive outcomes to increase performance. To be successful in a Value for Money and ESG Officer role, the skills you will need : Experience with a large Provider or complex organisation Good working knowledge of value for money, social value, CSR, ESG and stakeholder performance management requirements. Financial and Non-financial analytical skill sets and dealing with large datasets. Experience in implementing, leading and driving change. Ability to use own initiative. Ability to create reports for multiple stakeholders for board members, executive management team and senior leaders. Office administrator experience with ESG, VFM, social value and/ or procurement background. Ability to communicate effectively, with strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to write concise and accurate reports. Ability to consult with stakeholders and customers. Ability to analyse and think laterally, appraise and produce cost, management and statistical information, summarising key points / recommendations to Boards, Committees, EMTs. Ability to prioritise work and adhere to strict deadlines and targets. Ability to be flexible and adaptive to change, influencing cultural /organisational change and challenging norms. Innovative thinking, identifying ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness and eliminate waste. Ability to learn and grasp the changing nature of legislation in the ESG, social value and VFM environment. Current Driving Licence and access to a vehicle. Excellent communication skills, able to communicate across multiple channels including Microsoft Teams, Face to Face and Email. Experience or Knowledge of the below would be advantageous but not essential: CIPS qualified - ideally level 4 or above Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
