Salary: £140 – £233 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role
Connex Education is recruiting passionate ECTs and experienced Maths Teachers for opportunities starting in September 2026.
We are currently supporting a number of friendly and inclusive secondary schools across Bristol, with roles available on both a short-term and long-term basis. Some placements may run through until Christmas, while others could continue for the full academic year ending in July 2027.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and inspiring Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Adapt teaching and learning activities to support pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
Create a positive and purposeful classroom environment that encourages confidence, resilience, and good behaviour
Use clear explanations, modelling, and questioning techniques to make mathematical concepts accessible for all learners
Mark work, assess progress, and provide constructive feedback to support pupil achievement in Maths
Build positive working relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to promote learning and wellbeing
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred, although strong secondary teaching experience in Maths will also be considered
A passionate and engaging teaching style with confidence in delivering Maths lessons
Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within the classroom
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one through Connex Education
