We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Marketing Assistant to join our Technology Business Development team in Belfast.
The Business Development (BD) team sits within the Global Business Development, Marketing & Communications function. Dedication to clients is one of A&O Shearman's core values and to this end BD and client relationship management is at the forefront of its global strategy.
Role Purpose
The Senior Assistant will support the Business Development managers in our Technology team and work closely with other business development and marketing team members and with other business areas such as Finance, IT and HR to deliver impactful business development and marketing projects.
What you will do
We're looking for someone highly organised, efficient, and committed to delivering high-quality work. Your responsibilities will include:
* Support BD and marketing initiatives - Assist with projects and campaigns across the Technology team.
* Coordinate client events and hospitality - Plan and deliver virtual and in-person events.
* Manage legal directory submissions - Work with associates, partners, and researchers to secure top rankings.
* Create client-facing materials - Develop brochures, inserts, and contact cards with Creative Services.
* Produce tailored content - Compile CVs, credentials, and proposals for client pitches.
* Update digital platforms - Refresh website and intranet content; create social media posts.
* Spot market trends - Use internal and external data to identify opportunities and respond to research requests.
* Prepare financial reports - Provide insights on client performance.
* Coordinate email marketing - Manage Vuture campaigns for the group.
* Support profile-raising activities - Assist with content creation and deal capture processes.
* Contribute to global league table submissions - Ensure accurate and timely entries.
What you will have
