The Role

You will support individuals with daily living skills, encouraging and promoting their independence. Tasks include meal preparation, household tasks, shopping, medication management, personal care, attending medical appointments, and participating in community activities. You will enable people to live independently within their own homes.
We support a diverse group of individuals with complex needs. Our support workers deliver person-centered care, making our service flexible and adaptable to each individual's requirements. We support people to make their own choices, no matter how small, and believe everyone should feel empowered with control over their lives.
This job can be very rewarding, allowing you to support people in reaching goals, achieving outcomes, and engaging with their community.
Experience supporting individuals with additional needs is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
A driver is not essential, but you must be willing to walk between houses within the Hawick area.
An enhanced PVG check is required for this role.
