Social Network - Tutor/Practitioner Job Description

The Role:
1. Provide 1:1 educational support to students within their home or local community in Barking
2. Sessions will be approximately 2 hours per day per student
3. Support students' educational and social-emotional development
4. Deliver flexible, holistic, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Plan each teaching, tutoring, or mentoring session
2. Deliver engaging sessions tailored to meet individual needs and promote progress
3. Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on the young person's development
Requirements:
1. Experience working with young people with Additional Educational Needs
2. Knowledge of safeguarding processes and procedures
3. Enhanced DBS check (assistance available if needed)
4. Two professional references
5. Legal right to work in the UK
