Do you have a passion for hair and a flair for teaching the next generation of stylists? Ready to swap the salon chair for the classroom and shape the future of hairdressing? This role would suit either an established lecturer or an industry specialist looking to get into teaching. The post holder will be required to deliver practical and theory lessons and monitor students’ progress as part of the tutoring role. This exciting role will include: • Deliver engaging and informative lectures and practical sessions on various hairdressing topics • Assess students’ work and provide constructive feedback to support their learning and development • Develop and update course materials to reflect current industry standards and practices • Support students in achieving their qualifications and career goals • Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our beauty programs. If you can demonstrate the following, then we’d love to hear from you: • Hairdressing qualification at Level 3 and above • Teaching qualification - not essential but desirable • Assessors award - not essential / highly desirable • Excellent knowledge of the hairdressing industry and working within industry • An effective communicator • Self-motivated and well organised • Commitment to further professional development Closing date: 24th June 2025. Annual salary: £26,877 - £41,414 per annum Full Time Equivalent – will be pro rata for part time (Subject to qualifications, skills and experience). Hours: part time, 13 hours per week, full year, permanent contract to start in August 2025.
