Year 6 Teacher - Full-Time (Maternity Cover) - Ellesmere Port, Cheshire - Temporary to Summer 2027
Location: Ellesmere Port, Cheshire WestContract: Full-Time, TemporarySalary: £130 - £160 per day (with potential to move to scale)Hours: 32.5 hours per weekStart: ASAP / with crossover period where possible
About the Role Academics is working with a well-regarded primary school in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire to recruit an experienced Year 6 Teacher.
This is a great opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic classroom practitioner to join a supportive team and make a real impact on pupils' learning for the coming academic year.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons for Year 6 pupils.
* Deliver creative teaching that inspires, motivates and raises attainment.
* Assess pupil progress and adapt lessons to meet individual needs.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to school life.
Ideal Candidate You will: ? Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and degree-level qualification. ? Have experience as a Year 6 teacher/Upper KS2 Teacher and proven classroom impact. ? Be organised, proactive and passionate about primary education. ? Have strong behaviour management and communication skills.
