THE ROLE


OPTIMIZE, ENABLE, INNOVATE!

As our Assistant Manager – Marc Jacobs Beauty, you play a critical role in supporting the Business Manager to deliver the overall sales objective and excellence of execution for your account. You will lead from the front on the shop floor, motivate and develop the team, and ensure Marc Jacobs Beauty shows up with consistency, artistry, and commercial impact — every day, in every detail.

You will be reporting to the Area Manager, and you will manage:

Lead sales, service & artistry
• Support the Business Manager to coach and motivate the team to achieve monthly sales targets
• Maintain company KPIs and support fair target distribution (daily, weekly, monthly)
• Deliver Coty’s customer service ceremony with every customer
• Build customer relationships that influence, sell, and consistently upsell
• Perform make‑up and skin consultations that drive conversion and long‑term brand loyalty

Own excellence of execution & brand equity
• Lead by example as a brand ambassador, protecting Coty and Marc Jacobs brand equity
• Keep updated on, and encourage the team to complete, We Live Beauty and mandatory Coty Academy
• Follow merchandising guidelines across permanent and promotional space with uncompromising standards
• Plan and execute customer eventing that builds excitement while protecting brand equity
• Complete month‑end, payroll and feedback within guidelines and time limits

Coach the team & run the floor
• Support the Business Manager in developing the team, escalating issues to the Area Manager when required
• Manage and welcome agency staff as part of the team and maintain productive ways of working
• Build strong relationships with the Coty in‑store team, mobile consultants, and retailer stakeholders
• Maintain excellent communication with the Area Manager and key store partners
• Be available for ad‑hoc mentoring of new managers into the business

• Proven experience in beauty with a high level of make‑up artistry and consultation skills
• Strong sales background with the ability to motivate others toward KPIs and targets
• Luxury mindset: deep understanding of the industry and how to protect brand equity
• Confident floor leader who can represent the Business Manager when required
• Strong stakeholder skills — able to listen, influence, and build relationships fast
• Highly organised with great time management and the ability to manage priorities
• Resilient, flexible, and accountable — thrives when plans change
• A proactive, team‑first coach who invests in development and performance growth
