Deputy Home Manager - Children and Young People
Location: Sudbury
Salary: From £33,664 per annum plus additional sleep-in rate of £62.64 per night
Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle are essential
Hours: Full-time, including long day shifts and sleep-ins
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home.
* Lead, motivate, and supervise the care team to ensure high-quality, person-centred care.
* Promote a therapeutic approach to care, supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes.
* Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards.
* Manage rotas, budgets, and administrative duties effectively.
* Contribute to staff training, development, and performance reviews.
* Step up to manage the home in the Registered Manager's absence.
Requirements
* Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a Residential Children\'s Home at Senior or Deputy level.
* Hold NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People (or equivalent).
* Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and child protection procedures.
* Experience in managing staff rotas and budgets.
* Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
