As a Rolls-Royce Defence Master Scheduler you will be part of the Sales & Operations planning team, within Global Planning function. Sales & Operations planning are a multifunction team who have responsibility of capturing, integrating and accurately cascading customer requirement into supply chain demand, insuring the applicability of product to the customer. What you will be doing: Responsible for co-ordinating activity within UK Defence Sales Inventory & Operations planning process, integrating delivery plans with internal teams, to achieve customer requirements whilst optimising business performance. Provide clear, actionable insight into schedule performance, risk, and forecast, enabling effective decision-making, issue resolution, and stakeholder alignment at all levels. Identifying & understanding the risks to business measures, communicating those risks & implementing mitigations Cascading the approved Executive Schedule with accuracy & timeliness to the whole supply chain within our ERP system, maintaining stability of demand outside of the Sales & Operation planning process cycle Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand capacity constraints, improve lead times, and exceed customer expectations. Resolve conflicts related to material and capacity availability to ensure production continuity. Position qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field. APICS (CPIM/CSCP) certification is a significant plus. Experience in master scheduling, production planning, or supply chain management (Manufacturing or Aerospace background preferred). Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365) with experience of advance planning tools. Experience working with multi discipline teams such as commercial, procurement, engineering management, or finance, supporting effective integration across the programme. Preferred requirements: Experience working within project or programme environments, with accountability for planning against quality, time, cost, and performance objectives. Proven experience of creating Master Production Schedules and an understanding of schedule performance and forecasting methodologies. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence internal teams at all levels. Sound working knowledge of planning processes, data, and scheduling tools, with the credibility to operate as a trusted advisor to planning practitioners. Collaborative, adaptable team player able to bring together cross-functional contributors in a complex delivery environment.
