Overview
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing excellent customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy office environment.
Responsibilities
* Greet and welcome visitors in a courteous manner
* Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and proper phone etiquette
* Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and postal mail
* Maintain the reception area to ensure it is tidy and presentable
* Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
* Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars
* Provide clerical support, including typing documents and managing files
* Support financial operations using Xero as needed
Requirements
* Previous office or administrative experience is essential
* Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Excellent typing skills with attention to detail in data entry tasks
* Demonstrated clerical experience in a similar role is advantageous
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
* A positive attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
