Technical Services Manager - Insulation, Fire Protection, Ceilings, Drywall - Flexible location What will you do? Be part of the close knit CCF technical team providing high quality, quick response and added value technical and specification support to our customers (across our key product categories of insulation, fire protection, drywall and ceilings) ensuring they get the right products for each project and driving technical enquiry conversion rates. You'll be part of a team that is constantly seeking to expand their knowledge and services to better serve our customers whilst also supporting the wider business to grow their knowledge and competence through the development and deployment of training and knowledge tools. Some accountabilities of the role: Provide high quality technical and specification support to customers and colleagues in order to drive increasing sales and technical enquiry conversion rate and value. Including but not limited to: Construction buildup advice U-value and condensation risk calculations Alternative product propositions Building regulations compliance guidance Support in the development of appropriate technical support tools to assist the branches and wider sales colleagues in demonstrating market leading expertise. Support the development and delivery of technical training as required to develop the capability of colleagues and further enhance CCF's market position. Develop and maintain a strong network of customer, supplier and industry technical contacts to support the activity of the technical service team, in delivering market relevant technical services. Manage 3rd party services and providers; including but not limited to: Building thermal modelling Material take-offs Maintain up to date knowledge of critical regulatory and industry developments and monitor technical trends in order to support business planning. Visit customers where appropriate to engage in technical and specification support activity fostering long term value adding customer relationships. Utilise and help to develop technical team recording and reporting processes. Assist in the development of the strategic plan for the technical service team to maintain alignment with rolling 3 year business strategies. What's in it for you? Not Sure you Qualify?
