We have a great opportunity for a Quantity surveyor to join a leading build company in the Midlands.
We are looking for a Quantity surveyor who has experience on projects that include steel frame builds as this particular business work heavily within Industrial construction.
Produce and present monthly CVR Reports for live projects
Maintain and develop the mcs commercial processes and procedures and apply best practice with a continuous improvement approach, to maximise returns in terms of profit
Manage, reduce and drive out unnecessary costs and inefficient activities
Maximise cash flow through the timely preparation of valuations, submission of invoices and receipt of payment
Manage the prompt preparation and settlement of final accounts, including variations, claims and disputes
Manage the production of accurate and timely accounts for use in managing the business
Manage the production of accurate and timely project financial forecasts for use in setting targets and managing the business
Develop a thorough and in-depth understanding of the contractual, commercial, insurance and legal processes relating to the projects to ensure that mcs’s position is protected
Ensure verbal and important discussions/agreements are recorded in writing (email)

You will be involved with Pre start, On site & Completition so you must have experience from Day 1 of winning the project.
