We're looking for a proactive, organised and empathetic individual to join our team as a DI&B Coordinator. This role is part-time (22.5 hours per week) and hybrid. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of our Leeds City Centre office, as regular on-site meetings and collaboration will be required. What You'll Do
* Event & training coordination: organise and coordinate DI&B events, workshops, and training sessions, including logistics, scheduling, and communication with participants and facilitators.
* Communication: support internal DI&B announcements and updates, staff intranet pages, presentations and marker day celebrations.
* Liaison: act as a key point of contact for general DI&B inquiries, providing administrative and liaison support to the DI&B Advisor, People Operations team and the DI&B Forum.
* Engagement support: assist in supporting engagement activities of internal staff Communities of Belonging and build relationships with external partners.
* Data handling & analysis: collect, organise, and analyse DI&B-related data confidentially; track key metrics, prepare reports, and identify trends to inform the DI&B Strategy.
* General administration: provide broader administrative and project support to the DI&B function as needed.
About The Candidate
* Passion for DI&B: genuine interest in promoting diversity, inclusion, and belonging in the workplace.
* Organisational skills: manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and coordinate events and projects efficiently.
* Communication skills: convey information clearly, concisely and inclusively to diverse audiences.
* Data proficiency: experience with numerical data, including collection, organisation, basic analysis, and reporting; proficiency with spreadsheets or data management tools is essential.
* Subject matter interest: eagerness to contribute to engaging content relating to human diversity.
* Proactive mindset: a "+can-do" attitude, willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and navigating ambiguity.
* Self-awareness & empathy: ability to self-reflect and interact with people from all backgrounds empathetically.
No specific qualifications are required; transferable experience from any role or activity that demonstrates the skills, interests and behaviours above will be considered.
