The role
You will be the first point of contact for IT issues raised by employees and customers who use the company’s B2B platforms. It is a role where the basics really matter: clear communication, accurate logging, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
What you will be doing
* Providing first line support via phone, email, and the helpdesk ticketing system
* Troubleshooting issues and escalating to 2nd/3rd line where needed
* Logging and tracking incidents to ensure SLA and KPI standards are met
* Building and configuring PCs and laptops to company standards
* Prioritising incidents effectively to minimise downtime for users
* Working closely with the Infrastructure and Development teams
* Supporting customers using the B2B website
* Carrying out general support duties to keep the IT Service Desk running smoothly
What we are looking for
* Ideally one year’s experience in an IT Support role
* Strong troubleshooting skills
* A professional and friendly telephone manner
* Clear, confident communication (written and verbal)
* Ability to record information accurately
* Someone who can stay calm under pressure
* Good time management and the ability to prioritise
* High attention to detail
* Comfortable working within a small, close-knit team
* IT qualifications (or willingness to work towards them)
