We have an exciting opportunity for a hard working and enthusiastic professional to join our Occupational Therapy (Physical Disability and Sensory Impairment) team.
In this role, you will be working with people experiencing disability which affects their daily living activities, providing assessment services to determine needs, visiting individuals in their homes or community settings as required.
You will need the ability to gather, select, and analyze information to support your assessment decisions and identify the underlying cause of functional difficulties.
This will involve providing equipment and/or adaptations directly or referring to other statutory or voluntary services.
You should be able to work autonomously within tight timescales and demonstrate responsibility for your own learning needs.
An HNC in Occupational Therapy Support is preferred or willingness to work towards this qualification.
Supervision and peer support will be provided regularly.
