Veterinary Surgeon - Weekend Out of Hours
Exciting, part–time role available working at our main hospital site providing out of hours services over weekends and bank holidays. New Priory Vets is based within our flagship hospital in central Brighton, and the rota for this position will include 30 hours over 3 days per week, predominantly working weekends and bank holidays but with hours available Mon‑Fri on weeks that don't include a bank holiday.
We will provide a comprehensive range of general practice veterinary services including medicine, surgery, radiography, CT, ultrasound and dentistry with the support of nursing clinics. Patients of our Brighton clinic can also benefit from the on‑site support of Brighton Veterinary Referrals if additional expertise is required.
Responsibilities
• Consult and care for inpatients alongside our ECC vet, providing out of hours services to local clinics.
• Work well as part of a team.
• ECC certificate is preferred.
Qualifications
• Eligible to be registered with the RCVS, 3+ years qualified.
• ECC experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work out of hours over weekends and bank holidays.
