Job Title: Head of Change Framework & Methods Contract Type: Permanent Location: Alderley Park / Edinburgh Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based Closing date: 20th May We are evolving our approach to delivery of change at Royal London to support a more agile, value-led model. To support this, we are recruiting a Head of Change Framework & Methods to help shape how Royal London plans, governs and delivers change across the Group. You’ll lead our Change Framework & Methods team within Strategy, Planning & Governance (COO function). Working alongside the Head of Portfolio Management Office, this role will ensure that our frameworks, capabilities and practices enable effective, consistent and value focussed delivery across the value streams and shared service platforms. This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll set the direction for our change framework, standards and requirements for supporting tooling, improving transparency, decision-making and delivery outcomes in a complex, regulated environment. In this role we are looking for an individual who can demonstrate ability to: Own and evolve Royal London’s Change Policy, framework and delivery execution methods and embed it across the organisation. Define clear governance expectations reflecting a balance between pace, transparency and control in a regulated environment. Lead the Change Framework & Methods team, building capability through guidance, training and coaching and establishing communities of practice Partner closely with the Head of PMO to ensure ways of working supports value based decision making and delivery practices align to portfolio priorities, establishing relationships with key delivery stakeholders. Define the requirements of portfolio and wider tooling to support the delivery framework. Provide constructive challenge and an assurance framework on delivery approach, readiness, governance and tooling - surfacing systemic risks and issues. Lead, motivate and develop the team - setting clear priorities and building the capability needed to deliver outstanding support to the Group. Build and lead a Centre of Excellence (standards, guidance, training, coaching and communities of practice). A track record of implementing and scaling delivery tooling, driving adoption and improving data quality. Manage and influence stakeholders - able to advise and challenge at senior levels.
