TeacherActive is proud to be working with a private nursery setting based in Cardiff, who are looking to appoint a Nursery Assistant on a temporary part time basis until October 2026. This warm and welcoming nursery provides a nurturing environment for children and offers a range of flexible shifts including both half days and full days to suit the successful Nursery Assistant.
The nursery is looking to take on a proactive Nursery Assistant with a Level 2 qualification or above to support across the setting. The successful Nursery Assistant will be expected to support children throughout daily activities, provide personal care where required and work closely with the nursery team to create a safe and engaging learning environment.
The successful Nursery Assistant will have:
• Level 2 qualification or above in Childcare or Early Years
• Experience working within a nursery or early years setting
• Personal care experience desirable
• A positive and flexible attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A caring and nurturing approach
