Role Details:
Join a dynamic engineering team delivering high-impact solutions in a highly regulated industrial manufacturing environment. We’re seeking a proactive Mechanical/Piping Design Lead to manage and drive detailed engineering output from concept through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and develop the design team across mechanical/piping disciplines.
2. Manage detailed deliverables including ISOs, 3D models, fabrication drawings, BOMs.
3. Ensure design quality, compliance, and technical integrity within budget and schedule.
4. Conduct site surveys, design reviews, and document control.
5. Support procurement, commissioning, and continuous improvement.
Key Requirements:
6. ONC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent); IOSH and CompEx desirable.
7. 5+ years’ experience in industrial/compliance-driven environments.
8. Must have previous Industrial Manufacturing experience.
9. Strong knowledge of ATEX, PED, CDM, pipework stress and routing.
10. Advanced CAD and 3D modelling proficiency.
