About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple residential construction sites across East Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional to join a growing house builder delivering high-quality homes across the region.
Reporting to the Construction Director, you will be responsible for managing site teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee and manage multiple housing developments across East Sussex
2. Lead and support Site Managers and site teams to ensure effective project delivery
3. Monitor programme schedules to ensure build targets and deadlines are achieved
4. Ensure all sites operate in line with health & safety regulations and company policies
5. Maintain quality control standards across all developments
6. Manage budgets, subcontractor performance, and cost control
7. Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings
8. Liaise with technical, commercial, and sales teams to support project delivery
9. Resolve site issues and drive continuous improvement across projects
Requirements
10. Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within residential housebuilding
11. Strong knowledge of UK construction regulations and health & safety requirements
12. Experience managing multiple sites simultaneously
13. Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills
14. Ability to drive programmes and deliver projects to strict deadlines
15. Full UK driving licence
