To protect our customers' property, people, and assets by providing security services in accordance with the site's published Assignment Instructions (AIs) and any subsequent updates.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Delivering results that meet or exceed the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ensuring full responsibility and accountability to support contract retention.
2. Undertaking additional training for continuous self-development.
Main Duties
Operations
* Ensure compliance with all policies, legal, and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and in accordance with UK Law and guidance bodies.
* Complete all site tasks and duties as defined within the published Assignment Instructions (AIs).
* Review and familiarize oneself with any updates to the Assignment Instructions, suggesting amendments to improve service quality.
* Maintain compliance with industry and statutory legislation, including possession of a front-line security guarding or door supervision license, and a CCTV PSS SIA License. Additional contractual courses may be required.
* Follow all legal and safety obligations of the role.
* Adhere to instructions and procedures without unnecessary challenge.
* Work systematically and methodically.
Training
* Complete all required competency training satisfactorily.
* Undertake additional training as directed for self-development.
* Utilize technology to meet work objectives and enhance professional knowledge through ongoing development.
* Ensure license renewal at least 16 weeks before expiry.
Security and Health & Safety
* Report any health and safety hazards immediately.
* Stay alert to threats or environmental changes and act accordingly to prevent disruption, loss, or damage.
* Use common sense and initiative in threatening situations, involving others when necessary.
* Maintain professional conduct in challenging situations and with difficult customers.
* Record incidents accurately and promptly for reporting purposes.
* Adhere to schedules and demonstrate commitment to Mitie and the client.
* Ensure check calls are conducted as stipulated in the Assignment Instructions.
* Report incidents to emergency services and the Communication Centre.
