Assistant Headteacher - Special School Leadership (SEND) Salary: Grade L7-L12 (£54,816 - £61,882) Contract Type: Full-time, permanent Start date: ASAPThe Role Working with children and young people aged 4-19 with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN). Lead and manage teaching staff and support staff within your area of responsibility. Drive pupil progress and achievement, including overseeing special needs provision. Develop and enhance the teaching practice of colleagues. Manage resources effectively, including budgets, staffing, and physical space. Uphold school policies and contribute to the School Improvement Plan.
