Hoyle Tanner’s Aviation Services department is seeking a Project Engineer who enjoys the technical aspect of aviation engineering. You will be designing small, medium-sized, and large airports in the New England region as well as Florida. You will also be able to share your knowledge base and coach entry-level engineers. There will be opportunities to do presentations and lead meetings with clients and contractors setting you up for a career path of Senior Project Engineer or Senior Project Manager.

As a Project Engineer you will:
* Have a primary role in an integrated, multi-discipline team that solves technical challenges on projects of significant scope, size and difficulty
* Complete assignments accurately and on time with limited direction from the Project Manager
* Develop an understanding of project budget, scope of services, project development and project schedule
* Provide updates and recommendations to the Project Manager in maintaining schedule and budget
* Understand the client's organization, key people and expectations
* Share best practices to improve performance and efficiency of self and team
* Develop person-hour estimates and budgets with guidance from senior staff
* Lead small team for moderately complex projects
* Assist in proposal efforts and development
* Provide coaching, mentoring and feedback to develop entry-level and Staff Engineers, peers and others as needed
* Conduct site visits and participate in or lead meetings with clients/ contractors
* Demonstrate strong technical writing and presentation skills for deliverables, proposals and presentations in a public setting (for clients and/or at seminars and conferences)
Requirements:
Qualified Candidates will have:
* BSCE or ME
* 4-10 years of relevant experience
* Current PE in NH, MA or VT
* Strong skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydrology/hydraulics
* Salary is contingent on experience
