Senior Product Manager

We're now looking for a Senior Product Manager to transform Slate into a proactive, strategic platform that enables innovation across the business.
This is not a traditional feature PM role. Your direct customers are internal, but your impact and influence will be felt by our 25 million users in 4 markets. This role is high impact and will change how we deliver value to our users across the globe.
What you will be doing:
Define the long-term strategy for Slate
* Set a proactive vision for the evolution of our design system
* Identify reusable interaction patterns before they are requested
* Balance short-term component demand with long-term platform value
Embed with the Innovation teams
* Work closely with Upstream to anticipate future needs
* Translate emerging product direction into scalable system capabilities
* Ensure innovation doesn't create unnecessary rework or duplication
Transform Relationships Across Missions
* Position Experiences as a strategic partner, not a service desk
* Drive strategic alignment between the different missions
* Improve prioritisation processes and remove cross-team friction
Champion Experience Consistency at Scale
* Push reusable interaction patterns across the business
* Reduce one-off builds
* Ensure Slate accelerates delivery rather than slowing it down
Operate as the Connector within the Business
* Connect Product, Design and Engineering at senior levels
* Insert yourself into the right conversations, even when not invited
* Advocate for long-term platform health in short-term trade-offs
Skills we'd love you to have
This role requires someone comfortable in ambiguity, who can shape an emerging area into something exceptional.
Essential
* Experience as a Senior PM in platform, internal tooling or design systems
* Proven ability to operate horizontally across multiple teams
* Comfortable driving change and breaking down silos
* Strong technical fluency (ideally exposure to front-end or design-led teams)
* Tenacity and confidence to push back constructively
Highly Desirable
* Experience working directly on or with a design system
* Background in front-end engineering or design before moving into Product
* Experience in smaller, fast-moving environments where you acted as a connector
* Exposure to financial services or regulated industries

Our Hybrid Model

* Levels 1-5: Minimum 2 days per week in-office
