Purpose of the Role
Support advisers and paraplanners by managing complex administrative processes and ensuring a high standard of client service. The role suits someone experienced in financial services who enjoys working independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all stages of client administration, including pensions, investments, and protection.
* Prepare and process new business, valuations, and client reports.
* Liaise with advisers, providers, and clients to ensure smooth case progression.
* Maintain accurate client data on internal systems and meet FCA compliance standards.
* Prepare meeting packs and support advisers with follow-up actions.
* Mentor and support junior administrators.
* Contribute to process improvements and help streamline workflows.
* Handle confidential information with professionalism and care.
Skills and Experience
* Experience within financial planning, wealth management, or financial services administration.
* Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, and protection products.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Confident communicator, able to manage multiple priorities.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and financial software (e.g., Intelliflo, Xplan, or similar).
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
* Progress toward a CII qualification or equivalent.
* Experience mentoring others or leading small administrative teams.
