Position: Senior Pensions and Benefits Administrator
Location: Worcester, with a balance of home and office working
Salary: £27,521 - £28,970 per year
Hours: 35 hours per week – Part-time 28 hours or over considered
We are seeking a Senior Pensions and Benefits Administrator to join our Reward and Wellbeing team within People Services in Worcester. The team develops policies and solutions related to pay, recognition, employee benefits, pensions, and wellbeing. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a friendly team dedicated to delivering value to colleagues. The Senior Pensions Administrator will report to the Pensions Specialist and be responsible for pension scheme administration and supporting employee benefits.
The role includes:
* Pension Payroll Processes: Support accurate and timely pension payroll, including automatic enrolment and report submissions, ensuring compliance with legislation, scheme rules, and policies.
* Guidance and Advice: Provide clear guidance on pension queries and ensure their resolution.
* Employee Benefits: Support administration, respond to queries, and maintain data on online platforms.
* Record Maintenance: Keep accurate records for audit and compliance purposes.
* Stakeholder Relationships: Maintain relationships with third-party providers and internal teams, addressing issues appropriately.
* Communication and Promotion: Support communication and promotion activities to enhance employee engagement.
* Process Improvement: Recommend process enhancements.
* Project Support: Assist with reward and wellbeing projects.
Skills and Experience:
* Experience in a similar administrative role, ideally in HR, payroll, finance, or consultancy.
* Excellent communication skills, customer service experience, and handling confidential information.
* Numerate with report production and data analysis skills, especially in Excel.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Organized with task prioritization skills.
* Understanding of pensions and employee benefits.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
* Experience with SAP HR systems is desirable.
* Discreet and sensitive handling of information.
