We are seeking a hands‑on and production‑focused Quality Engineer to support the control, assurance, and continuous improvement of product and process quality across a high‑volume automotive electronics manufacturing environment. This role requires strong technical capability, excellent problem-solving skills, and the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders in order to drive quality improvements and enhance customer satisfaction. The Quality Engineer will: Provide daily hands‑on quality support to production, including immediate containment actions and structured problem solving. Manage the Customer Concern Log and lead 8D / CCAR creation, tracking, and timely closure. Lead cross‑functional quality issue resolution with Customers, Suppliers, and Operations teams. Support external and customer audits including IATF 16949, VDA 6.1, and customer-specific assessments. Control and document containment, re‑inspection, and countermeasure activities in line with the 8D process. Assist in boundary sample creation and support APQP activities for new product introduction. The Quality Engineer will have: Minimum 5 years' experience in an automotive manufacturing environment in a Quality Engineering role. Strong working knowledge of 8D, root cause analysis, and structured containment methods. Experience auditing Automotive Quality Management Systems (IATF 16949, VDA 6.1) Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical documents, and measurement data. Experience conducting process capability studies and analysing statistical results. Strong personal presence and resilience, with the ability to challenge, influence, and communicate confidently across teams.
