A great opportunity to join a corporate site in the City, This Chef de Partie role is based on 40 hours per week. The working hours are -
Monday 7am to 3.30pm
Tuesday 2pm to 9.30pm
Tuesday 2pm to 9.30pm
Tuesday 2pm to 9.30pm
Friday 7am to 3.30pm
In the evenings The Chef de Partie will work closely with an assistant to prepare a Hot Meat option and Hot Veg option as well as a couple of salads as well. You will need good orgainsational skills to make sure you have all food ready for service on time. On Monday and Friday you will work with the rest of the kitchen team to help prep for lunch service.
We are looking for a chef ideally with Contract Catering Experience but other experience can be considered. You will be in charge of the service so have the chance to write menus and use whatever produce you require. You will prepare all the dishes and then ensure all is closed down correctly with the assistant who will support on this.
You will report into an Exec Chef but very much be working independently so you will need to be comfortable with this set up. We are looking for a chef de partie that can demonstrate good stability in previous roles with some length of time in each role.
