The Opportunity
This role reports to a Supervisor or Manager.
The Maintenance Electrician will provide technical expertise to the Maintenance and Operations teams, support daily operations, and assist with capex and improvement projects. The role involves equipment launches, including preventive maintenance and spare parts implementation. Effective communication with all functional groups is essential to ensure maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and be capable of working independently or collaboratively on various equipment or machinery.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions, replace faulty components, and ensure systems operate safely and efficiently.
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
* Rebuild pumps, replace seals, and support building maintenance needs.
* Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety regulations, and jurisdictional requirements.
* Support continuous improvement and equipment launch projects.
Qualifications
* Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, colleagues, and tradespeople.
* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and bending.
* Manage time and materials efficiently to complete projects.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial setting.
* Mechanical aptitude.
