UHD Breast Imaging Clinical Lead

The Dorset Breast Screening Unit (DBSU) within the University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust screens approximately 43,000 women per year as part of the National Health Service Breast Screening Programme and also provides symptomatic services at Poole and the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals. The unit is fully digital with eight mammography units, three of which are mobile, and four support tomosynthesis.
The successful candidate will support the Clinical Director and the Breast Services Manager in running the day‑to‑day operations of the screening and symptomatic services. The role requires HCPC registration.
Base location – cross sites: Royal Bournemouth Hospital and Poole Hospital.
Qualifications
* BSc in Radiography or equivalent
* HCPC Registration
* PgCert in Mammography
* Teaching qualification
* Advanced practice breast module qualifications
Experience
* 2 years experience as an advanced practitioner
* Breast screening experience
* Teaching experience
* Experience of research, study design
* Experience as an independent practitioner

University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust
£57,528 to £64,750 a year. Salary is dependent on experience and training required.
