What you will do:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership for a Team Manager to work in the Children and Families Health Team.

You will lead, develop and manage an integrated children’s health locality team, which includes Health Visiting staff, School Nursing staff, and other registered and non-registered staff providing early intervention and preventative support to children and families. You will be responsible for co-ordinating and developing team members, ensuring high quality, person-centred care which is responsive to local and national needs and requirements.

Each Team Manager has professional oversight of aspects of our service provision, including service developments and improvements required to support this.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

Professional qualification in Nursing/Midwifery, educated to degree level.

Evidence of further professional development e.g. Specialist Community Public Health Nursing or Post Graduate Certificate in Child Protection or further Health Studies.

Evidence of continuing professional development, good communication skills and IT skills is essential. A working knowledge of policy and legislation including GIRFEC, child protection and care experienced children and young people’s legislation and policy is also essential.

Hours:

37 hours per week

UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership:

Car licence is essential to this role.
