A lovely village primary school are on the lookout for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team this academic year!
This full-time role involves providing individual support to a child with additional learning needs helping them to access the curriculum and thrive in the classroom setting.
Responsibilities
* Support a pupil on a 121 basis within a mainstream primary class.
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies.
* Foster independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.
* Engage the child in both academic and social activities throughout the day.
Qualifications
* Experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant, particularly within a primary school setting.
* Calm, patient, and nurturing approach to behaviour and communication.
* Ability to follow structured plans and adapt support where needed.
* Genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
