Commissioning Engineer – London field-based
Competitive salary DOE, 35‑hour week, paid travel, subsistence, healthcare, pension and training. Work on advanced lighting control systems with long‑term career development and varied projects. This role is confidential and offered via a recruitment partner on behalf of our client.
Key Responsibilities
* Testing, commissioning and handover of lighting control systems
* Client and engineer training on‑site
* Routine PPM works and reactive troubleshooting
* Headend installation and IP network configuration
* Technical advice to end users and contractors
* Daily SARs, snag reports and health check reports
* Maintaining accurate backups and site documentation
* Supporting upgrades, remedial works and RMAs
* Adhering to health & safety standards and site compliance
Requirements & Experience
* 18th Edition electrician (preferred)
* Strong DALI and lighting control knowledge
* Valid ECS / CSCS card
* Experience with IP networks, routers and gateways
* Comfortable with site‑based, physical work
* One Saturday per month and occasional out-of-hours work
