Content & Social Media Marketing Manager Salary: £40,000 Location: Lowestoft (2 days working from home) About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated, performance-driven and self-sufficient Content & Social Media Marketing Manager to elevate our digital marketing output and take it to the next level. This is not a role focused on posting content for visibility or chasing vanity metrics such as likes and followers. Instead, the focus is firmly on commercial impact, ROI, and lead generation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced digital marketing professional-particularly someone currently working in a fast-paced agency environment-who is ready to move in-house and take full ownership of a high-growth, multi-site organisation. You will develop a deep understanding of our business goals and build a powerful digital strategy that supports occupancy growth and revenue generation across 40 care services. Reporting to: Head of Marketing Key Responsibilities Strategic Ownership You will take full ownership of social media strategy across two divisions: Residential Care Services Domiciliary Care Services You will audit existing activity, identify gaps, and design a scalable, unified digital strategy that works across corporate branding and local care home/branch level marketing. Full Campaign Integration Working collaboratively with the wider marketing team-including the Digital Marketing Manager, Designers, and Web Developer-you will ensure social media activity is fully integrated into wider marketing campaigns that drive measurable results. Performance & ROI Focus Your primary objective will be to maximise return on investment, moving away from engagement-led reporting and focusing on: Lead generation Cost per acquisition (CPA) reduction Conversion performance Data & Reporting You will produce detailed performance reporting using tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud, providing clear insight into performance at: Individual care home level Branch level Corporate level Reports will be used to demonstrate impact directly to senior leadership and board level stakeholders. About You We are looking for someone who is: Self-Directed & Proactive You take ownership, spot opportunities independently, and execute without needing constant direction or briefs. Commercially Focused You understand digital marketing from a performance perspective and are confident working with KPIs such as CTR, CPA, conversion rates, and attribution modelling. Agency Experienced, Ready In-House You bring strong multi-account and fast-paced experience from agency environments but are now ready to focus your expertise on a single organisation with clear purpose and long-term growth. Strong Communicator with Emotional Intelligence You understand how to market sensitive services such as elderly care and dementia support, ensuring messaging remains compliant with CQC standards and always reflects dignity and empathy.
