Job Overview
VANRATH is delighted to partner with a Magherafelt-based organisation to appoint an HR & Wellbeing Officer. This is a varied role supporting the full employee life cycle while driving initiatives that enhance employee wellbeing and engagement. Working closely with the Head of People & Culture, HR Manager, and senior leaders, you will be responsible for HR administration, recruitment support, employee relations, and wellbeing activities. Full training and development opportunities will be provided.

What you'll do:
4. Be the first point of contact for employees and managers, offering advice on HR policies and people matters.
5. Assist with recruitment by preparing job postings, co-ordinating applications, and providing operational support.
6. Organise and deliver onboarding, including induction sessions, check-ins, and probationary reviews.
7. Manage employee departures, ensuring all documentation, notifications, and payroll updates are processed accurately.
8. Lead wellbeing campaigns that promote mental and physical health, and ensure staff are aware of available resources and benefits.
9. Oversee employee benefits, while supporting community and charity initiatives that reflect the company's values.
10. Encourage employee engagement by collecting feedback, co-ordinating events, and supporting CSR activities.
11. Handle HR administration including payroll support, holiday records, absence monitoring, and maintaining accurate employee data.
12. What you'll need:
13. 1-3 years' experience in an HR, People, or generalist role.
14. CIPD qualification (Level 3 minimum, Level 5 desirable) or equivalent experience.
15. Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
16. Knowledge of HR processes across recruitment, onboarding, wellbeing, and employee engagement.
17. A proactive, collaborative, and people-focused approach with the ability to manage confidential information.
