We are an experienced multidisciplinary team of structural, civil, and geotechnical engineers, and we currently have a vacancy for an Engineering Geologist / Geo-environmental Engineer to join our expanding team in Northampton.
Attributes and Key Skills
Minimum of 2 years' experience in the industry
Full UK driver's licence and own transport
Degree in engineering geology, geology, or environmental science
Ability to carry out site contamination assessments from Stage 1 Tier 1 to Stage 3
Experience in geo-environmental and geotechnical site work
Understanding of soil and rock logging under BS5930
Competent in scheduling contamination, waste classification, and geotechnical testing
Proficient in writing desk studies and interpretive GIR reports
Capable of designing remediation works and validation
Strong technical report writing and clear verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office
Experience with the EIA process and reporting would be advantageous
