Role Overview
This role sits within a market leading Finance team and serves as the deputy and key support to the Head of FP&A, acting as the number-two for planning and forecasting activities across the organisation. The position plays a central role in:
* Leading the annual business planning cycle and quarterly forecasting processes.
* Delivering robust financial forecasts, scenario modelling, and analytical insights that guide senior leadership decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Planning Cycles
* Oversee the full end-to-end annual planning and quarterly forecasting processes. This includes shaping methodologies, maintaining structured timelines, and coordinating delivery across all relevant internal teams.
Maintain Forecasting Frameworks
* Manage and improve the International Financial Forecast Model and associated processes, ensuring high-quality inputs, reliable outputs, and timely delivery for capital planning, Board reporting, and regulatory submissions.
Enhance Data and Analytical Capability
* Establish and evolve processes that capture detailed, accurate data across products, business units, and markets, enabling robust driver-based analysis.
Documentation & Controls
* Ensure all assumptions, methodologies, and outputs are fully documented and compliant with internal controls and review requirements.
Process Improvement & Automation
* Drive continuous improvement in planning and forecasting workflows, identifying opportunities for automation and enhanced accuracy within Excel and, where appropriate, system-based solutions.
Act as Deputy to the Head of FP&A
* Support the Head of Financial Planning & Forecasting in developing team capability, providing training to analysts, and stepping in as the senior representative for FP&A when required.
Reporting Support
* Contribute to the preparation of monthly and quarterly management reporting packs, Board presentations, and performance analyses.
Project & Initiative Support
* Participate in broader Finance initiatives and deliver ad hoc analytical work that supports organisational priorities.
