Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a primary school based in Winsford (Cheshire). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people in their education and development.
About the role:
 * Start- date immediate upon registration
 * Full-time opportunity
 * Ongoing/long-term with opportunity for permanent contract with the school
The successful candidate will work alongside teachers and SENCO to support students both in the classroom and in small group/1-1 settings. The role will involve helping to create a positive, stimulating, and supportive environment for all students, including those with additional learning needs.
You will:
 * Provide in-class support across KS1 and KS2 when necessary
 * Assist with differentiated learning activities and group intervention
 * Support SEN students both socially and emotionally
 * Manage student behaviour in line with school policies
 * Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom environment
 * Cover Teacher PPA when necessary
What we’re looking for:
 * Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
 * Experience working with young people (in a school or similar setting)
 * Patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic
 * Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
